Ahhh, Szimpla Kert. The atmosphere in this ruin pub, one of the oldest in Budapest, is unique, and every time we went here, it was always a good time. It offers concerts, movie nights, a computer room, a great collection of old furniture and reasonable prices. It was my personal favorite because there’s something for everyone here. It was simple, yet different and interesting. It's also one of the top bars in the world, which was an interesting fact I learned after going for the first time.
Instant had many rooms with a different ambiance in each. It’s basically a huge dance club. We only went here once, but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, exciting night. The different rooms in this place are all so strange, but in a good way. You might have to see it in person to understand, but Instant is definitely one-of-a-kind.
There were about a thousand stairs with walls covered in eccentric graffiti, leading up to the bar in Corvineto. Once you get up there, it's totally worth it. The bar is right next to a stage, as well as a huge area to dance. On the rooftop, you can find live music and art pieces. It was incredibly cool. I would recommend going around midnight because there was no one there at 10 p.m.
Púder is not a dance club or even a bar. It's definitely more of a restaurant, but it's a very interesting place. They had the most delicious fries I have ever tasted and the strangest decorations, including an upside down mannequin in a dress and about 10 couches. It’s located near the Central Market Hall and right next to Ibis Centrum Budapest, which is where our student group stayed during our visit. So it’s a great place to stop for a bite to eat.
